Laserbit products

AlderNetworks Ltd are authorised Installers/ Resellers of Laser bit range of products.

We specialise in the design, installation and maintenance of FSO (free space optics) wireless links using laserbit solutions.

Free space Optics uses state of the art wireless network technology to transmit information between two points at up to 1Gigabit bandwidth + full duplex at distances from 3mtrs to beyond 1KM.

Wireless laser links technology is similar to Fibre Optic cables linking two points together, but without the need of cables between. Thus creating less disruption than cabling, cheaper installation and MOD status secure link.

Wireless laser links can be used for Data, VOIP & Voice PABX applications; The Pinto series can provide one Ethernet channel and one E1 Line into a single data stream.

We have three different models to the Laserlink/Laserbit range these consist of Pico ? Pinto & Pronto. Please see links for the specifications of each product.

Lets look at some examples of where our wireless networks Laserbit can help you:

Wireless Networks Example1:

You may require a solution to link two networks (LANS) together. Network A in one building and network B in another building. There is a road separating the two buildings. With a road in-between cabling will be very costly, if not impossible, other options would be to rent leased lines via BT these too could become very costly. Our laser links solution, Free Space Optics will save you time and money; you will have two network links up and running in no time. With no licence issues or planning applications required. Our laser links wireless networks is the ultimate requirement for linking building-to-building solutions .

Wireless Networks Example 2:

Your company is based on the 7 th floor and has out grown the space. The only floor available is the 3 rd but there is a problem to network the two floors together with cable. The solution would be to fix the wireless networks laser links units externally to the side of the building one laser links unit on the 7 th Floor & one laser links unit on the 3 rd floor .

You now have both floors networked together for voice/data requirements all by using wireless networks technology.

Competitive pricing

Many companies offer fixed pricing including the products & installation. Please bear in mind; do their prices include all the health & safety aspects involved in carrying out such installations? High-level work will require, in certain circumstances, machinery developed to aid with high-level installation.
